PECKHAM-ELMEN, Carol Joan Age 74, of Dedham, Massachusetts, passed away in her home on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. She was born in Grayling, Michigan, and grew up in Gaylord, Michigan, graduating from Gaylord High School. She received her BA from Michigan State University. Passionate about cooking, chocolate, art, music, travel and her garden club, Joan loved reading and learning as much as possible about the world. She was an extremely intelligent, strong person. Joan was predeceased by her husband Paul H. Elmen, Jr. She is survived by her daughter Emily Peckham-Elmen, her sister M.E. Shober, her niece Susan Murphy, and her nephew Scott Shober.
