Bernie Bocook - 1995 Biography
After 24 years, Tom and I are still happily married. Our daughter, Teri, attends Grand Valley State University and is a manager for Subway. Tom Jr. is the artist of the family. He attends Southwestern Community College and plans on a career in graphic design. He's employed by our local Cadillac/Pontiac dealership. I've been Executive Secretary to the President of Viking Recreational Vehicles for almost 10 years and love my job! Mr husband, Tom, retired three years ago due to health problems, so he does most of the cooking and is super handy around the house.
I was secretary for Band Boosters for 7 years while both Teri and Tom were in band. Our most memorable time was chaperoning our band to Disney World, especially since we had a 22 hour chartered bus ride each way with 80 teenagers! Actually, they did great - musically and behaviorwise.
We've traveled West to California, East to Washington D.C., South as far as Texas and Florida. Before we were married I went solo to Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
I enjoy working in my flower garden, sewing, handicrafts, interior decorating, collecting angels, working with the church youth group, and just being busy.
