Carolyn Rowley - 2000 Biography

I was sorry to miss the 35th class reunion but would like to be remembered when future reunions are planned. Since I left Gaylord High in the 9th grade to move to Florida, I really appreciate being included.

It doesn't seem possible that 35 years have passed for the Class of '65. I am still working as a judicial assistant with the Florida Court system, and will make the 30 year retirement milestone next year. However, I will probably stay on another 5 years. I am also a real estate broker and enjoy showing property in my free time. My husband and I have acquired 2 grandchildren since the last reunion.

Meredith is 2 ½ and Cooper is 1 ½. We also have 3 more on the way. As some of you may have found out, they are such fun, and so nice to be able to spoil and then return to their parents. I think it must be our reward for putting up with our own kids teenage years.

On a sad note, I lost my brother Larry almost 2 years ago. He died in Oct. 1998 of a massive heart attack at 47. Some of you that have younger brothers or sisters may remember him. He left behind 3 beautiful daughters and one son.

My parents are still spending July and August in Gaylord. They enjoy the break from the Florida summer heat and visiting with old friends. Thanks again for including me. I would love to hear from anyone who has a few minutes to send a letter or e-mail.
