Norm Glasser - 2000 Biography

Sally & I have celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary and will soon have been in Adrian, MI for 29 years. Adrian is starting to feel like home. The past 5 years have seen daughter, Amy, earn her degree from Adrian College. Amy works in manufacturing in the Adrian area and has a home a few blocks from us. Amy's son, Anthony, 6, has endless energy, loves basketball and is a joy to his grandparents. We spent time with him in the north country last summer and hope to do the same this year. Our daughter, Pamela, will graduate from Adrian College in December and really doesn't know what path she might take then. She has lived at home through much of her college career. We see these as bonus years. She has various names for them! Sally continues to accept as much responsibility at school and her service organizations as a 24-hour day will allow. She makes a great contribution to the school and community with her work. Since hitting 50, we have constantly been patching her up. At least the thing with her shoulder has taken her mind off the thing with her jaw. I still work for Addison Products Co., now called Knight Refrigeration Co. They keep giving me more impressive titles in an ever shrinking company. I will probably face a change soon, but then I probably said that 5 years ago. Church, Adrian's cultural offering and sporting events continue to be important to us. An occasional hunting or fishing trip with the guys breaks up the routine.
