I have been employed by Champion International since August 1965. I am Senior Grinder Setup Operator.
I was a founding member of Bass Anglers Sportsman Society in 1968. I served in the Army from June 1966 until May 1969. I was stationed in Germany and Vietnam. I received military decorations from the U.S. Government and South Vietnam.
I have been active in the Northland Sportsmans Club. I have served on the Board of Directors and in 1981 I received the Sportsman of the Year award. I have also taught Hunter Safety for the DNR for fourteen years. In 1980 I received national recognition from the Marlin Firearms Company as one of the top 50 Hunter Safety Instructors in the nation. I am a member of the NRA, BASS and Tom Mann's Research anglers team, and field tester for Mann's lures.
