Don Fitzek - 1995 Biography
Linda and I still live in Gaylord. In 1993 I took an early retirement from Shell Oil Company and am now on staff at Mercury Oil and Exp. Co. overseeing over 250 wells and 23 employees. Gaylord over the years has become a fine community to live and work in, especially since I love to golf. This past year was very special to me, seeing my son, Brennan play golf at State Finals in East Lansing, make the final basket that gave Gaylord the Class "B" District Basketball title and hit a grand slam in baseball. Spring break found us in Florida along with several parents of the Senior Class. I traveled to Oklahoma City on business one week before the bombing.
