Both my husband and I are retired civil engineers living in Jacksonville, FL. We have two daughters, and twin 6-year-old grandsons. I feed five (sigh) feral cats that have wandered into our backyard (after trapping them and getting them neutered/spayed and some shots, of course). They're becoming quite friendly, if only at mealtimes...

Retirement is great, as it gives us the gift of time to pursue travel (we especially like to go to our National Parks out West) and to play . I never thought I'd become a golfer but took it up as physical therapy about 8 years ago when recovering from my first bout with breast cancer, and discovered it's lots of fun. Now I try to play twice a week...
